Over 30 Staff at Warners to Tackle Charity Challenge

An intrepid team of more than 30 staff at Warners will be donning their walking boots at the end of April to help raise money for charity.

The team will set off in the early hours of the morning on Saturday 30 April to take on seven hills across Scotland’s capital to help raise money for the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC). The charity, founded in 1980, helps seriously ill babies, children and young people by providing support with their medical care, mental health and family’s well-being.

The challenge being taken on by the Warners team will see them all walk the length and breadth of Edinburgh to climb to the summit of Arthur’s Seat, Blackford Hill, Braid Hill, Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, Calton Hill, Corstorphine Hill and Craiglockhart Hill, covering a total distance of more than 14 miles.

Commenting on the event Nicole Edwards, New Business & Marketing Manager with Warners said: “With everything that’s been going on in the world it’s been a while since we’ve all been able to get together as a team so we’re really excited about the opportunity to get in shape, meet up and help raise money for such a fantastic cause. The team at ECHC do an amazing job and they’ve been really supportive with helping us to prepare for the event so we’re hoping that we can raise as much as possible for them.”
