ESPC Report Confirms Continued Stability in Edinburgh Property Market

In response to the publication of the ESPC Quarter 4 House Price report, Scott Brown, Consultant with Warners Solicitors & Estate Agents, said:

“Once again, 2012 prices have remained stable and the figures reaffirm the stability seen in both 2010 and 2011.

“Prices are broadly flat. Volumes of sales have increased slightly, which is positive, and this probably down to a combination of several factors – more realism on the part of sellers; slightly better lending criteria from lenders; government initiatives to assist new build sales; a desire to get moved and generally a little bit more confidence in the market given the stability of prices for nearly three consecutive years.”
